As VP of Webtrends Digital Solutions Group, Mike is responsible for all facets of Webtrends digital agency practice. He oversees the companies mobile analytics business and an emerging data visualization design team. At Webtrends, Mike works with blue chip clients like Reebok, State Farm, Coca Cola, Hilton, Microsoft, NY Times, RIM, Fandango and a host of others to effectively implement measurement programs that shape successful mobile strategies and user experiences. Mr. Ricci joined Webtrends after serving as VP and Mobile Practice Leader for Merkle where Michael established Merkle’s mobile marketing practice and positioned Merkle as the premier mobile provider in the eCRM space.

Prior to Merkle, Mike was VP of Creative and Strategy for iLoop, a premier mobile marketing firm focused on assisting marketers, digital agencies and other entities create effective mobile marketing strategies and user experiences. At iLoop, Mike worked with some of the leading players in mobile and also developed a comprehensive mobile marketing strategy for President Obama’s election campaign – an effort that helped the campaign earn recognition as the 2008 Mobile Marketer of the Year. Earlier, Mike oversaw Volantis Systems’ Content Services business and assisted brands like ABC, CBS, Disney, Discovery, EBay, Reuters and the Financial Times as they began to shape their mobile strategies.

Before entering the mobile marketing arena, Mr. Ricci headed up global marketing efforts for York International where he won recognition for some ground breaking “business to business” based Olympic and sports sponsorship programs. Mike also worked with Glasgow, Scotland based Aggreko PLC where he also headed up Olympic and Global Event sponsorship programs.

In this role, Knitter works to enhance Cars.com’s mobile site and mobile apps to better serve car shoppers on the go. She also assists with the development of advertising products for manufacturers and dealers to help them reach this growing segment. Knitter will continue to monitor the growing mobile space to help Cars.com identify opportunities for growth on multi-media platforms and lead the third-party mobile automotive space.
Before her role as Senior Director of Mobile Strategy, Knitter served as the Senior Director of Consumer Products at Cars.com. In this position, she implemented the strategic management and development of the site’s consumer automotive buying and selling channels on the web. She also led the site’s mobile initiative and successfully made Cars.com the first third-party automotive site with an optimized mobile presence. Prior to Cars.com, Knitter worked at the Tribune Co., where she began in 1987 as a research manager and later worked as both the manager of advertising development and director of recruitment strategy.

Knitter is the co-chair of the IAB mobile committee and previously served as the president of theNewspaper Association of America’s Research Federation. Additionally, she was elected the Oak Brook Park District Commissioner.
