As a two-time National Champion with the United States Olympic Committee, I had the honor of representing the United States in international competition. My karate journey began in Anchorage, Alaska, where I spent my formative years training at Anchorage Goju-Ryu. I later moved to New York to further my athletic career and focus on sport kumite (sparring), training under World Champion Tokey Hill in the New York Tri-State area. Seeking to become a more complete martial artist, I cross-trained in Tae Kwon Do under Grandmaster Dong Keun Park.
